SIEMAG TECBERG GmbH

Mine Hoisting & Cooling - Innovation since 1871

SIEMAG TECBERG GmbH supports its customers in the mineral resources markets and the transport infrastructure worldwide with energy-efficient and intelligent hoisting technology.

Whether they are used in the extraction of noble-metal and industrial metal ores to provide green technologies with the necessary raw materials or in the extraction of mineral salts for the manufacture of mineral fertiliser, the SIEMAG TECBERG group’s system-integrated total solutions always impress by their excellent engineering know-how, comprehensive system testing with factory commissioning of heavy-duty test rigs and digital service concepts, including condition monitoring and service management.

The company, as an independent OEM, offers on the basis of knowledge-based engineering services (applied engineering) the delivery of individual machines and systems in altogether four industrial technology areas:

  • Shaft Hoisting Technology for Mines and Underground Storages
  • Horizontal Conveying Technology for Bulk Materials incl. Handling Technology horizontal to vertical
  • Cooling and Ventilation Technology for Mines, Underground Storages and large Tunnels
  • Automation and Drive Technology

This niche specialist’s technology grew out of a smithy set up in the Siegerland in Germany in 1871 to manufacture equipment for local ore mining and the iron smelting industry. Following a management buy-out in 2007, SIEMAG TECBERG was set up by Jürgen Peschke, the present CEO and executive shareholder.

The company’s head office, TECBERG park, is located in Haiger in Hessen (Germany) north of Frankfurt am Main.
